TuCOPRamp

TuCOP Ramp API

Move between USDC on Celo and Colombian pesos from your own app.

TuCOP Ramp is the TuCOP service that partner apps call to on-ramp and off-ramp Colombian pesos (COP). Your users keep USDC on Celo in their wallet; TuCOP Ramp turns it into pesos in their bank account, or pesos into USDC.

Partner apps are integrators. A person who only wants to convert is a direct client and signs up on the ramp, not here. An integrator signs in at the integrator console with Google or an email code, completes the integrator details, accepts the terms, and receives an API key. An integrator's end users do not get a ramp account.

Products

ProductSandboxProductionWhat it does
Parties and sessionsAvailableAvailableSign your user in with an email code or a wallet signature, create or link their party and follow identity verification. Endpoints under /sessions and /parties.
PayAvailableAvailablePay a third-party Bre-B key from USDC on Celo. Endpoints under /destinations, /quotes, /payments, /limits and /rates. The pesos usually arrive 15 to 30 minutes after the USDC.
WithdrawAvailableAvailableA reusable address where USDC on Celo is paid out in COP to the party's own Bre-B key. Endpoints under /withdrawals. The pesos usually arrive 15 to 30 minutes after the USDC. Turned on by TuCOP only; it cannot be requested from the console.
DepositNoAvailableA reusable Bre-B key where COP paid in arrives as USDC in the party's wallet (/deposits). The payments provider's sandbox does not create COP deposit accounts, so /deposits does not work there.
P2P rampNoTuCOP's own apps onlyOff-ramp (COPm to COP) and on-ramp (COP to COPm), settled by TuCOP operators. One book, /p2p/*. Available only to TuCOP's own apps for now: integrators cannot request it.

Parties, Pay, Withdraw and Deposit are On/Off Ramp services: a payments provider moves the money. P2P is run by TuCOP. A service of one kind never opens the routes of the other; see Services.

TuCOP has no business pay-in (collect) product.

In the console you can request pay and deposit; TuCOP approves each request. P2P (p2p_offramp, p2p_onramp) shows as coming soon and cannot be requested. GET /consumer lists the products enabled for your key.
